The Finger Lakes are 11 lakes in Central New York. The area has earned a reputation as New York’s premier wine region. Many of the wineries offer tours to visitors. There are also three wine trails that wind their way around Seneca, Cayuga, and Keuka Lakes. The recreational opportunities on the waters of the Finger Lakes number as many as the wineries dotting the landscape. Other attractive features of the Finger Lakes Region include the numerous golf courses and driving ranges, relaxing spas, historical shopping districts, and the wide variety of restaurants.
